Seriously....

I didn't measure Little Liza Jane on the size 3 needles. It was smaller than it was on the 4's and that was all that matters. Except I measured it...

and it should be 11 inches wide. Hopefully those yarn over eyelets open up and it lies flatter once washed. Thankfully the fabric is stretchy... but how on earth does going down one needle size make that big of a difference? I do feel like I am knitting tightly. Stress maybe? I don't know. Whatever it is I can't change it now. Thankfully EJ isn't quite at 2T anyway. So it will fit. Even if she looks like a stuffed sausage. It will fit.
